In 2023, I partnered with GRID3 to deliver a professional impact report to translate complex data and technical achievements in Nigeria and the DRC into a clear, strategic narrative for global stakeholders. GRID3is a non-profit organisation that works with countries in sub-Saharan Africa to generate, validate, and use core spatial datasets on population, settlements, subnational boundaries, and crucial infrastructure. They combine the expertise of leading technical partners to design pragmatic and responsive geospatial solutions that address the priority needs of each country.
SOLUTION
GRID3 Impact Report 2023-2024
I collaborated with GRID3 to shape the narrative, structure, and content synthesis for their 17-page Impact Report 2023–2024, translating complex geospatial data into a clear, professional business narrative.
Working with a designer and data analyst, we conceptualised and developed infographics that simplified technical updates into accessible impact frameworks. This demonstrated clear examples of how data applications improved the efficiency of polio and malaria campaigns.
The final report provided a strong foundation for communicating value to donors and stakeholders. It unified work across the DRC and Nigeria under a cohesive voice and highlighted key impact metrics — including the mapping of 5,933 new settlements and 186 border communities — showing how spatial tracking strengthens health service planning and resource allocation.
